“Obrigada a essa comunidade – pelo apoio, inspiração e compromisso mútuo para o bem no mundo”, diz o texto da imagem postada nesta segunda-feira (30/03) pelo Duque e a Duquesa de Sussex. “Embora você não nos veja aqui, o trabalho continua”, diz uma frase do post, que inclui uma reflexão sobre o momento atual do mundo, além de muitos agradecimentos. A despedida é feita em clima de “nos vemos em breve” – eles afirmam que estão estudando como vão continuar a contribuir, assim que for possível entender, como todas as outras pessoas, qual será o papel que cada um assumirá em um planeta transformado pela pandemia do coronavírus. As notícias sobre o casal também não serão mais atualizadas no site Sussex Royal. Apesar de não serem atualizados, o Instagram e o site ainda ficam no ar por tempo indeterminado.
